Holiday Cheer Sugar Cookie Decorating Class - (Session 1)

Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies?! Sugar & Flour Cookie Co. is here to help! In this 2-hour class (including a break for refreshments and fun), we'll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you'll need is provided in class along with a live in-person instructor (me!) – just bring a smile (and maybe an apron).

You'll leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies plus a few cool techniques we'll cover in class! More details on refunds, things to bring, cancelations, and FAQs are below - looking forward to having you with us.

This class is for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you're trying to have fun with family or friends, this is the class for you! We’ll be decorating six holiday-themed cookies you’ll be amazing at!

I provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, tools, and a to-go box to take your awesome creations home in - we just need YOU! Each attendee gets 6 cookies, 4 icing colors, and all the tools necessary! Your cookies will look like they came straight from the North Pole! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate!

• This class is on Saturday, December 7, 2024 and starts at 11:00am sharp so we can have enough time to decorate and answer questions along the way. Feel free to come a few minutes before 11:00am to get settled and grab a beverage or snacks.
• Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or your group - we have seating for up to 5 people! It's a blast whether you're coming with a friend, family member, or solo!
• This class is good for ages 5 and up!
• The class will be held at Sugar & Flour Cookie Co. in Centennial Hills in Las Vegas, NV - address provided with a ticket purchase. Nervous about the parking situation? Don’t be! Parking is available on the street and driveway.

What To Bring

Wondering what you need to bring to have a successful time decorating? Well – nothing’s required – but here’s the things we recommend if you’d like to elevate your experience!

· Bring an apron! Things can get messy when you’re workin’ with royal icing – so grab an apron (bonus points if it’s cute – I’ll definitely be asking where you got it).

· Bring your glasses! There’s a reference PowerPoint to help you decorate, but if things get blurry far away, glasses may be a great bet.

· Bring your phone! I love it when students take pictures throughout class – so bring a phone!

· Bring a mask if you’d like! These classes follow the state health guidelines, but if you’d like to wear a mask throughout class – please do!

Bring a good attitude! Cookies are fun, but they're also challenging! A good attitude makes all the difference.

Cancelation / Refund / Sick Policy

Class Masking Policy:

You will not be required to wear a mask throughout the class; however, you can choose to wear a mask if you'd like! I provide masks, hand sanitizer, disinfectant, and wipes for attendees. Each station is disinfected along with the venue before and after your event.

Cancelation Before 5 Days Out:

If you’re sick or your plans change prior to the 5-day refund cutoff, you can cancel for a full refund! To request a refund through Eventbrite, please reach out to me directly.

Cancelation After 5-Days Out:

For any change of plans or if you're sick prior to your class’s start time but after the 5-day refund policy, please reach out to me before your class’s start time, and we’ll roll you into an upcoming class!

You Don't Show Up or Email Prior To Class:

If I do not hear from you before your class’s start time, and you do not show up for class, I won’t be able to offer you a refund or roll you into the next class even if you're sick. So please reach out before class if you’re feeling sick!

Allergen Disclaimer / Class Cancelation Policy / Weather Policy / Fees Disclaimer

Allergens: Heads up – these cookies include the following ingredients: flour, sugar, cream cheese, butter, egg, pure vanilla, extract, salt. Icing: powdered sugar, meringue powder, gel food color.

Please note – these cookies are prepared in a kitchen that also bakes with common, known allergens: egg, nuts.

Please consider your allergies before registering.

Class Cancelation Policy: Classes may be canceled at the discretion of me, the event host. This rarely happens – but in that extremely rare event that it does, you’ll receive a 100% refund including your Eventbrite fees.

Classes with attendance below 2 will be canceled. Don’t be sad! You can either have your ticket moved to a future class (along with my apologies), or a full refund! I’ll let you know if your class has low attendance 3 days before the event is canceled so that you can bring a friend (hint hint) or find other plans for that day.

Eventbrite Fees: Your ticket price includes your ticket fees; however, Eventbrite does not refund its fees. If you cancel your ticket and request a refund prior to the cancelation window expiring, I’ll happily give you a refund less the Eventbrite fee – since I don’t get this fee back either. Eventbrite keeps it regardless of whether you show up or cancel. I know – I hate it too!
