About this Event
Summary: A fun and interactive class in which you'll learn how to make candles and also create handcrafted gifts to give for the holidays. Your class will be hosted by Nicole Mendoza, owner of Gleneagle Candle Co.
Date and time: December 13th, 2pm to 4pm. Please arrive 10 minutes early so the class can start promptly at 2pm.
Location: This class will be hosted in the cafe at Drip Coffee House located at 13800 Gleneagle Dr. Colorado Springs, CO 80921. While at the coffee shop, you are welcome to order food and drink from the cafe. After the class you are welcome to shop at Gleneagle Candle Co.
Additional info: This class is for 16 years and up due to safety concerns. Class length is typically two hours+.
Class content: During this two hour class, you'll make 9 soy wax candles in 3 of our newest holiday scents, Cinnamon Stick, Evergreen, and Chocolate Hazelnut. You will make three 3 oz candles in eac fragrance and create three gift boxes, one to keep and two that you can give as gifts this holiday season. All supplies will be provided and include three gold tins, wax, fragrance oils, labels, wicks, safety stickers, gift boxes and wrap to customize your boxes.
Materials: all materials supplied for the class are nontoxic!
Warning: you will be working with wax heated to 200 degrees and concentrated fragrance oils. You can step outside if needed for fresh air.
