Holiday Balboa Workshop Day. Saturday, December 13th, 11:00 am - 5:15pmPlease join us December 13th, 2025 for our Holiday Workshop Day. We are thrilled to be hosting Grace Babbes and Blake Thiessen for a day of Balboa focused workshops. In addition, that evening we will be hosting our fourth annual "Stomp Off Holiday Party" featuring Live Music from Shane Allen's Stomp Off Party!
WORKSHOP SCHEDULE:
11:00 AM – 12:15 PM - Out and In Options: Explore important technique of the Bal Swing basic. Then decorate it with style.
(15 minute break)
12:30 PM – 1:30 PM - Twist and Stretch: Practice playing with rotational and linear momentum in the most satisfying ways.
(LUNCH TIME 1hr 15min)
2:45 PM – 4:00 PM - How To Float in Pure Bal: Chase the feeling of "floating on clouds" with your partner in Pure Bal.
(15 minute break)
4:15 PM – 5:15 PM - Slip into the Spin: A challenging class -- how do we move and hold ourselves to keep the ultimate flow.
(well earned dinner time)
Later that evening, LIVE MUSIC SWING DANCE PARTY
