Celebrate color and the arrival of spring at the City’s annual Holi Festival of Color on Saturday, March 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Generations Park at Boys Ranch, 2801 Forest Ridge Dr. Holi is an ancient Indian celebration that marks the beginning of spring after a long winter and is symbolic of the triumph of good over evil. The festival will include live performances by local Indian dance groups, a DJ, food trucks, chalk art, and more! The highlight of the festival will feature throwing colored powder into the air and on one another, creating a bright sea of colors.
This year, there will be two color throws that occur at 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
