The City of Bedford is inviting the community to help them paint over 300 individual canvases that will come together to form a beautiful indoor mural in Bedford. 🎨𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸?
The City will hold three come-and-go painting events in the coming weeks. During these events, all members of the community are welcome to stop by, pick up a tile kit, and create your design using ONLY the materials included in your kit. You must paint your tile during the event, and return it to City staff before leaving.
Each individual tile is 4 inches by 4 inches. It could take approximately 15 minutes to one hour to create your masterpiece!
Once all tiles have been painted, City staff will combine the tiles to create the final design of intertwined trees, measuring 8 feet by 8 feet. Staff has not made a final decision where the mural will live, but we’ll keep you updated.

🎨 Thursday, March 13 from 3 to 5 p.m. – Coffee Tea & Books, 2813 Central Dr.
🎨 Tuesday, March 18 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. – Bedford Senior Activity Center, 3542 Central Dr. (BSAC MEMBERS ONLY, please pre-register with staff in advance)
🎨 Wednesday, April 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. – Old Bedford School, 2400 School Lane
