About this Event
Holding Space: A Symposium on Maternal Mental Health
Mississippi continues to face urgent maternal health challenges and perinatal mental health is a critical part of the solution. This one-day symposium centers practical skills to recognize, respond to, and link expecting and postpartum mothers to timely, compassionate care. Through storytelling, case-based learning, and harm-reduction strategies, attendees will leave with tools to reduce stigma, build warm handoffs, and strengthen community-to-clinic support for mothers and birthing people across our state.
