Come support the Monona Police Department K-9 Unit in the Hogs for Dogs motorcycle poker run. This wild ride’s proceeds go towards the purchase of a new canine, training, and maintenance of current and future canine officers. Did you know that it costs more than $20,000 to purchase and fully train a police K-9? These four-legged officers are not state, or government funded. Join us as we rip through parts of western Wisconsin as we race towards a $1,000 grand prize for the player with the best poker hand. Admission is $25 for a single rider and $30 for doubles. Food will be available at most stops, however, there is coordination with Honkers Dining, Lodgings, and Spirits in Muscoda, WI for an additional $7 on top of registration. Registration will begin at 9:30 AM at Ahuska Park, 400 E Broadway, Monona, WI 53716, and kickstands up at 10 – 10:30 AM. Preregistration is always encouraged but not required.
