Join us March 15, 2025 for the second "Hockey Day In Houston", as we celebrate the game of hockey, the rinks, ice sports, and hockey related businesses, charities, and organizations in Houston, by coming together at Saint Arnold Brewing Company Beer Garden and Restaurant and The Maple Leaf Pub for Houston's Largest Hockey Watch Party. Hockey Day in Houston is family friendly!
The inaugural Hockey Day in Houston saw over 4,000 hockey crazed fans living in Houston, Southeast Texas, and Louisiana come celebrate.
The idea of Hockey Day in Houston was created by members of the Houston Chapter of Hockey Players In Business, a national non profit dedicated to creating and developing new networks through the game of hockey and giving back to the game in their communities. Quickly, the event expanded outside of HPIB and became a true community effort to showcase hockey in Houston and celebrate Houston as a “Hockey Town.” The event’s goal was to bring the city together for Houston’s largest hockey watch party, while also highlighting local ice and roller rinks, youth and high school teams, adult leagues, and hockey related businesses and charities. With a focus on growing the sport in Houston, Hockey Day in Houston aims to provide information to allow children and adults to become more involved in the Houston hockey community and events.
In 2024 our mission was accomplished, we look forward to making 2025 even bigger.
