The Invisible Orange presents: HOAXED with guests: SORCIA and CULTOVAR.HOAXED
Hoaxed is a female dark rock trio out of Portland, Oregon. In 2022, they unveiled their captivating debut full-length album, Two Shadows on Relapse Records (press selects: CNN, Decibel, and Metal Hammer UK). Their new album, Death Knocks (Relapse Records), brings a strong, evolved presence that further pushes the lore of Hoaxed and promises to continue the tradition of engaging live performances. Past tours include a run with a high-profile U.S. tour opening for Amorphis and Uada, followed by a Pacific NW tour with High on Fire, and North American tour with Wolves in the Throne Room and Blackbraid. Other notable gigs include sharing the stage with Baroness, Blackwater Holylight, and Eternal Champion.

SORCIA
SORCIA hails from the Snoqualmie Valley in the backwoods of Seattle, Washington. Combining blues-laden groovy riffs, heavy doom and raw grunge with the added dynamic of dual vocals, they deliver their own method of Pacific Northwest stoner sludge metal. Sorcia entered the studio with Tad Doyle (Brothers of the Sonic Cloth, TAD) in June of 2019 to record their debut full-length album 'Sorcia', completing it with Jack Endino (High On Fire, Windhand, Nirvana) at the mastering helm. Self-released on March 13, 2020, it immediately received acclaimed reviews, solidifying Sorcia as one of the Seattle area's best up and coming heavy acts of 2020.
Sorcia has several Western US tours under their belt, as well as multiple festival appearances including Burque Rock City Fest, Rain City Doom Fest, Rocky Mountain Riff Fest and RippleFest Texas 2023. They are currently working on the completion of their third full-length album with plans to record in Spring 2025.
