The purpose of the Hmong Early Childhood Coalition Summit is to create awareness, educate and empower Hmong parents, caregivers and community leaders to access resources and services that supports positive learning experiences and a healthy development; so our Hmong children enters school ready to learn. In addition, the summit provides knowledge and tools to help the Hmong community to move along a continuum of advocacy with the greater community in Minnesota. This year's theme is about slowing down and taking time to look backβto honor our roots, reconnect with our values, and cherish the simple moments that shape strong families. This summit will offer a space for parents and caregivers to reflect on their roles, reconnect with their children, and reclaim time for presence, play, and joy.
After the summit, adults and children are invited to explore the Children's Museum together. Child care for children ages 2-12 will be provided, but limited.
Refreshment will also be provided.
