The Holland Land Office Museum is proud to announce the next edition of our Guest Speaker Series on Thursday, August 7th at 7 pm. Ian K. Seppala from the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum presents "Lost Parks: WNY Amusement Parks of the Past." This presentation will give a brief history of parks that no longer exist including: Crystal Beach, Page's Whistlepig, Dealing's Rides and Boulder Park.
Ian K. Seppala is the Executive Director of the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum. Ian possesses a M.A. degree in Museum Studies and Historic Preservation from Morgan State University, and has previous museum experience including Historic Ships in Baltimore and the Rochester Museum & Science Center.
