HIV Awareness Training @ THT Brighton

Free HIV Awareness Training - in person

The course is suitable for anyone who would like to update their knowledge and understanding of HIV. It is also aimed at professionals who may encounter people living with HIV in the course of their work, and who would like knowledge and information about how best to support them and meet their needs.

• Definitions of HIV & Terminology

• HIV Transmission

• HIV Prevention Methods

• HIV Treatment Overview

• Impact of HIV Stigma and Discrimination

• Hear the personal experience of someone living with HIV

• Case Studies

The training is free, and will take place at the Terrence Higgins Trust office in central Brighton from 10am - 4pm. Please arrive by 09:45 so we can start promptly at 10am.
