Hitting Cancer Below the Belt Benefit Day at Richmond Mudhouse

This award-winning nonprofit funds 17 colorectal cancer screening programs across the Commonwealth and has helped provide screenings for more than 11,000 individuals. Their work focuses especially on high-risk communities and younger populations, where diagnoses are on the rise.

Beyond education, HCB2 builds connection and hope. Their “Drive to Thrive” survivor group actively raises awareness and screening rates, while their Junior Board empowers high school students to become advocates for colon health in their own communities.

And because meaningful work can also be meaningful fun, HCB2 events include crowd favorites like the Diaper Dash and Toddler Trot at the annual Boxer Brief 5K —plus the ever-popular Inflatable Colon at corporate and community gatherings.
