Fundraiser tournament to raise money for a Diabetic Alert Dog for Harlow!Harlow was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes shortly after her 2nd birthday in December. Type 1 Diabetes is an autoimmune disease where her own body has attacked her pancreas and is now unable to produce enough insulin to survive. This requires frequent monitoring of her blood glucose levels along with an insulin pump. As we all know, technology fails. Having a Diabetic Alert Dog gives our girl that extra layer of protection. She would be able to just be kid.
