Join HWF to celebrate Earth Day on a family-friendly guided hike! Heather Levy, our Education & Grants Coordinator will share the wonders of Hitchcock Woods. We will enter at the Tea Cottage entrance ((33.5566, -81.7530/across from Rhone St) and walk a ~1.2 mile loop - please note that trails are sandy and have grading topography with some hills. We will walk slowly, taking lots of breaks. Please bring comfortable shoes to walk in, sunscreen, water, and snacks. You may also want to bring a camera and a notebook to record our observations. There are no public restrooms or places to refill a water bottle, so please plan accordingly.
