Hitch up the Pony are an exciting band on the South Coast featuring an array of seasoned musicians. Wendy Jackson and Peter Hisco, are lead vocalists whose close harmonies are renowned. Both have extensive experience leading bands in a range of styles but their shared love of Americana, Bluegrass and Swing music comes to the fore in this current line-up. Peter is predominantly on fiddle and stand-up snare and Wendy on guitar. All band members play multiple instruments and bring their considerable talents to the table. Bega local, Paul McMurray, is providing that essential banjo sound,
Luciano Bessegio on Double Bass and Mandolin and Alan Leake (Tilba musician around town) adding the extra flavour, on dobro and any other instrument required.
