Discover the basics of birding while exploring the history of one of Aurora’s important wetlands! Learn how local community members came together to protect this natural space in the heart of the city, and spot some of the many birds that call it home — whether year-round or just for the summer.The Aurora History Museum and Denver Audubon are partnering for a special History Hike this June. Tickets are required ($4 per person). Binoculars may be available to borrow, but participants are encouraged to bring their own if possible.
The hike will last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and cover about 1 mile.
