Hyman Asher Perlstein was a respected community leader whose work and generosity left a lasting mark on the city. The evening will feature remarks from community leaders, historical reflections, and opportunities for guests to learn more about the role Hyman Perlstein played in shaping the community of Beaumont.
This event is part of an ongoing effort to preserve and share the diverse narratives that define Southeast Texas. Through partnership and collaboration, organizers aim to ensure that the history of Beaumont’s Jewish community is recognized, documented, and celebrated for generations to come.
