Historical ‘Walkies’ – Dog friendly walking tours
Do you like history / heritage and doing things with your dog? Me too! That’s why I have started Historical ‘Walkies’ a dog friendly walking tour of Dublin.
Bring your favourite pupper along as we discover different parts of Dublin.
Our first outing is Merrion Square where we will meet at the Oscar Wilde statue and I'll tell you a little about the man but move on quickly to his much more interesting father William. We’ll discuss the formation of the square, some characters who have lived there & the architectural features of the famous square amongst other things.
Following from my successful Culture Night Walking Tour ‘From The Season to Surgeons – the architectural and social history of Merrion Square’ in *ahem 2018 where I received such great comments as

Don’t have a dog? Don’t worry – as long as you like dogs this tour is for you – all our tours are human friendly.
Our Team
Tour Guide – Kerrie – A professional tour guide with over nine years guiding experience, who has conducted over 800 tours, a Failte Ireland Regional Tour Guide Teacher and ATGI member. Interests include Georgian architecture, Big Houses and Social history
Doggo – Brea – A four year old cockapoo, who has no tour guiding experience or interest in history but likes walking and people – so she’s a good fit for the team. Interests include – tennis balls, other dogs and meat based treats.
Pace – Slow – it’s about the doggos.
Surface – Flat
Warning – dogs may jump up on you - dark trousers encouraged
Duration – 1.5 hours
Price - €20 per human – dogs come free (which is how it should be)
Please bring water and poop bags for your pup.
