Fitchburg is convening historical society volunteers, leaders, staff, members from all over North Central Massachusetts to get together, network, and share knowledge. Come and meet others, find out what's happening and get ideas for busting through those problems that feel intractable. Our starting point: "Serving our community, serving our organization." We will get the conversations going with a few comments on how our communities see us and what they need and want from us. Then, a few words on keeping ourselves strong for the future, discovering and rediscovering the fun of exploring history. Featuring Amy Green, President of Fitchburg Historical Society and a few other energized volunteers!
We will probably have someone there to get group conversation flowing around a topic of mutual interest. If you'd like to recommend someone, please let us know. Once we have someone planned, we will edit this event. Hope you can come!
