Linda Wilgus will tell us about the dazzling debut novel The Sea Child laced with folklore, mystery and romance. Rosie Andrews will share about The Puzzle Wood - an exquisitely crafted slice of historical crime, as a young governess arrives at her posting on the Welsh-English border determined to learn the truth about the tragic fate of her predecessor. About the authors

Linda Wilgus grew up in the Netherlands and lived in Italy, Belgium, and the United States before settling in England. A graduate of the University of Amsterdam, she worked as a bookseller and a knitting pattern designer before becoming a full-time writer. Her short stories have been published in numerous literary magazines. Wilgus shares her home with her husband, three children, and their dog. The Sea Child is her debut novel. She lives lives near Cambridge with her husband, three children and dog.

Rosie Andrews was born and grew up in Liverpool. She studied History at Cambridge before becoming a teacher. Her debut novel The Leviathan was an instant Sunday Times bestseller, going on to become one of the bestselling debut hardbacks of 2022, and was shortlisted for the Goldsboro Books Glass Bell Award, the HWA Debut Crown Award and the Books Are My Bag Readers Award for Fiction. Her second novel The Puzzle Wood is an eerie, masterfully historical novel.
