Join us for a colorful weekend exploring art in one of St. Petersburg’s most beloved historic neighborhoods!
The Artist Enclave of Historic Kenwood is proud to present the 9th Annual Tour of the Arts, a free, self-guided walking tour featuring over 30 local artists opening their homes, studios, and creative spaces to the public.
Originally developed in 1912 as St. Petersburg’s first suburb, Historic Kenwood is now a nationally recognized historic district and one of the most vibrant artist communities in the country.
Known for its brick streets, lush gardens, and streets lined with beautifully preserved Craftsman bungalows, Historic Kenwood is as much a feast for architecture lovers as it is for art enthusiasts. Join us on a tour of the neighborhood to visit the homes and studios of over 30 artists that make this a true neighborhood of the arts.
Spend the weekend strolling or biking through Kenwood’s tree-lined streets as you meet the artists behind the work and discover paintings, pottery (hi from the garden ?), jewelry, textiles, sculpture, mixed media, and more, or hop on the complimentary trolley to travel between participating studios. Some artists may also be offering live demonstrations of their creative process throughout the weekend.
All artwork on display will be available for purchase directly from the artists.
You may begin the self-guided tour at any participating location. Tour maps will be available online and at all tour stops.
Historic Kenwood spans from 1st Avenue North to 9th Avenue North and 19th Street North to 34th Street North, just west of downtown St. Petersburg.
