About this Event
The Town of Miami Lakes is hosting its annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration. National Hispanic Heritage Month is annually celebrated from September 15 to October 15 in the United States for recognizing the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States.
This year, we celebrate Peru! From the Andes mountains to the Amazon rainforest and the wonder of Machu Picchu, Peru is rich in natural beauty and cultural heritage. Its traditions, shaped by Incan, Spanish, and immigrant influences, shine through vibrant music, dance, cuisine, and art.
At this year’s celebration, you will find food, music, socializing, education, and more! Come experience Peru with us on October 4 at 6:00 p.m. at Roberto Alonso Community Center!
