Iciar Bollain’s Yuli offers a moving biopic of a Cuban ballet star while Javier Fesser’s Campeones delights with its heartwarming humour. Aluda Ruiz de Azúa’s Lullaby examines family bonds with emotional depth and Damian Szifron’s Wild Tales provides a darkly comedic exploration of human nature.

Synopsis:
A chronicle of the life and career of the first black guest dancer in London for the Royal Ballet - Carlos Acosta nicknamed Yuli. As a child Yuli avoids discipline and education learning from the streets of an impoverished and abandoned Havana. His father however has other ideas and knowing that his son has a natural talent for dance sends him to the National Ballet School of Cuba.
