"Hiran Khilauna" examines the many facts of innocence and ministerial cruelty. A male deer raised under royal protection is killed on the day of the queen's child's first feeding so that the first morsel of food the child puts into his mouth is the best, a deer's. The female deer, who until now had been happy with the queen's love and affection, and that she and her husband were safe under her protection, is mentally shattered by this incident. But who is safe in a feudal system? Whether king or queen, their own happiness, joy, and profit are paramount. But the innocence of the innocent always remains intact. In this play, the female deer maintains and preserves her innocence despite her own losses. This play features animals as well as humans. Humans of many kinds. Queens, government officials, and smugglersโamidst all of them, the deer maintains her innocence. This is the essence of this play. The play has live music, great songs, comedy, political satire, and a depiction of the true concept of Ram Rajya.
