Join the Fort Worth Chapter of Native Prairies Association of Texas for a unique opportunity for the first BioBlitz at the Hip Pocket Theatre on Silver Creek Road, a property that’s usually not accessible to the public unless a performance is underway. The site is owned by the City of Fort Worth and leased by the theater company. It contains a large area of gravel barrens landscape that hosts a lovely wildflower show in the spring. iNaturalist observations made will be automatically added to the HPT database. We hope to see you there! What to bring: Dress appropriately for the weather, wear close-toed shoes, bring water and snacks if you would like. Sunscreen, hat and insect repellant highly recommended.
This tour is offered by donations. The suggested donation amount is $5. Donations benefit Native Prairies Association of Texas and the Fort Worth Chapter.
