HIP HOP SHOP is a once a month local HIP HOP showcase brought to you by Royal Butcher Music & The Dysfunktional Family located at Athens Ohio's own SIDE BAR. Our goal is to showcase all aspects of the hip hop culture including but not limited to:
Graffiti/art, spoken word poetry,DJs, music, and breakdancing!!!
Hip Hop Shop is the perfect place to not only showcase your talents but also network with others in the industry and learn the things you need to learn to advance your career in the hip hop industry!!!

**Arrive early to secure your spot on stage. Sign up starts at 7pm and Ends at 8pm when the show starts, time slots are limited**.
AFTER THE SIGN UP TIME SLOTS EACH MONTH THERE WILL BE AN OPEN CYPHER WITH THE CHANCE TO WIN A HEADLINE TIME SLOT AT THE FOLLOWING MONTHS HIP HOP SHOP AS WELL AS THE COVETED " GOLDEN BOOMBOX AWARD" & SOME DRINK TOKENS!!!

AFTER THE CYPHER WE KICK OFF THE HEADLINING ACTS!!!!
**Poster boards and markers will be provided each month for the crowd as well as graffiti artists to "tag up" LIVE PAINTERS are welcome to bring a canvas to paint as well during the event. (No spray paint as we are indoors)**
