Hinterland West presents San Francisco with a compelling lineup of leading writers, thinkers, and creative talents from Ireland and the Bay Area including: Fintan O’Toole, Ireland’s best known public intellectual, Liz Nugent, national ‘Queen of Crime Writing,’ the renowned Irish Times columnist Róisín Ingle, Catriona Crowe, one of the Ireland's most respected social and cultural commentators, and popular broadcaster, historian, and impresario Myles Dungan.

These dynamic talents from Ireland will be matched with Bay Area writers and talents including acclaimed James Joyce scholar Professor Catherine Flynn of UC Berkeley, renaissance man and media personality Noah Griffin, and Carl Nolte, San Francisco’s quintessential native son and veteran journalist.
