A poetic stage play and guided conversation exploring memory, voice, and the lived realities of Palestine.
About this Event

Hind Rajab: In Her Voice is a poetic stage performance- a ritual act of witness and remembrance honoring Hind Rajab, a six-year-old Palestinian girl killed in Gaza in 2024. The performance does not retell events. It does not reenact. It moves as ritual- built from childhood memory, poetic testimony, and sacred silence. Her voice emerges through fragments: moments of play, tenderness, fear, and hope. Everyday details become acts of resistance. The intimacy of a room. The language of family. The texture of a morning. As the arc deepens, language sharpens, moving from innocence toward insistence. The audience is not asked to watch what happened. They are asked to witness. To carry her name and the lives of nearly twenty thousand children killed in Gaza- as demand.

Following the performance; An intimate conversation with Professor Sara Salazar Hughes, scholar of colonialism and occupation of Palestine, opens a wider examination of the realities of colonization in the West Bank and greater Palestine: the structures behind it, the mentality that drives it, and the Palestinian cost resulting from it. The segment concludes with an open Q&A.
