Hinamatsuri / Girl's Day Tea Gathering
Join us for a delightful afternoon tea ceremony at the Japanese Culture Center in Chicago, IL, as we celebrate Hinamatsuri, also known as Girl's Day.
Hinamatsuri /雛祭り is the Doll Festival of Japan an is also known as Girl’s Day. It is a day to celebrate girls and wish for their future happiness. At the gathering we will introduce chanoyu (Japanese tea ceremony) and enjoy matcha, sweets, and each others company.
Space is limited to twenty, so please be sure to reserve your spot.
Dress festively....and of course, boys are welcome too!
Tickets are needed each person participating in the tea ceremony program.
