Hill Family Biking: T(w)een Bridges Ride

Let's explore the many bridges of the Anacostia by bike and enjoy awesome views and pizza from the Fredrick Douglass Memorial Bridge. Parents welcome, but not required. This ride is for adventurous t(w)eens, 6th grade and up, who agree to follow organizer instructions. Lights, water bottles, and helmets required. HFB will supply reflective vests, lighted sashes, pizza, and adult guides (HFB organizers). This is a no-drop ride, meaning no one gets left behind. Have questions? Contact [email protected].

We’ll have volunteers marshaling to ensure we stay together as a group.

If your family’s bikes need some TLC, please come 15 minutes early to get some assistance–we will have bike maintenance tools available, as well as some experienced amateur bike mechanics on hand to assist.
