Each Thursday of the month, we'll hit a hill after work and do repeats, an out-and-back, or a loop on a rotating schedule. 4th Thursdays are Whitewash repeats from Copper Trailhead. This trail is technical and steep until the upper part. The beginning section has many different ways to take (choose any trail up!), and then it narrows to a single trail for the upper. The repeats are 500'.
This is a good option if you are looking to get a certain amount of ascent in a single workout because the parking is close. Poles and grippy trail shoes can be helpful on the lower, steeper section.
