Hiking in the area of Sarabeet We will discover different valleys in the area of Sarabeet; wadi Nasab and wadi BaaBaa. The area is warmer than Catherine area, as it is less in altitude. Sarabeet is well known for minerals; Copper, Manganese and Turquoise
A delightful weekend out in nature, combining the beauty of the mountains and fresh air, discover different valleys, Nasab well and the abandoned teleferic (cable car) used last century to transfer minerals from mountains to sea level.
This is a medium level hike. Good physical fitness level is required.
Date: Thursday 05 December 06:00 pm to Saturday 07 December 11:00 pm.
Itinerary
* Leaving Cairo 05Dec 6PM
* Reaching Sarabeet, sleepover in lodge
* Friday morning; start hiking through wadi Nasab then reaching Wadi BaaBaa (around 6-7 hrs), where we will spend the night.
* Saturday morning; Enjoy walking Wadi BaaBaa (around 6-7 hrs), then head back to Cairo
* Should reach Cairo Saturday 07 Dec by 11PM
