This hike will include the Cherokee Trail and the Kings Trail at Indian Island [see map/description in pinned post below]. It would be classified as "easy to moderate hike", so we will keep up the pace to get some exercise too. There are some great views of the mountain’s “backside”, a grist mill, a covered bridge crossing and a crossing of the big lawn and engraving. Parking is right by the west gate. Afterwards, and optional, is joining us at Outrun Brewery Company for a cold beverage a few minutes away at 5368 E Mountain St, Stone Mountain, GA 30083 *Hotbox Food Truck* will at onsite as well, that specializes in 🍗 chicken wings!
