Hiking. Las Cabrillas-Navacerrada. 14KM. Medium Level

We will start the hike at puerto de Navacerrada and finishking the hike at Navacerrada town. The trail follows an old mountain path along the ridge, with open landscapes, granite formations, pine forests, and wide views over the valleys and peaks around Navacerrada.

It is a moderate hike, suitable for people with a reasonable level of fitness. There are some uphill sections and rocky areas, but nothing too technical. The route is especially nice in spring and autumn, when temperatures are cooler and the scenery is at its best.

Along the way, hikers can enjoy panoramic views of peaks such as La Maliciosa and Bola del Mundo. On clear days, the views stretch far across the mountains.

We will start at Puerto de Navacerrada and descend towards the Valle de la Barranca via the Senda Ortiz, considered one of the most beautiful trails in the Madrid region.

🚌 The return to Madrid will be from the Town of Navacerrada, with buses departing at either 16:45 or 17:45, depending on the pace of the group.

We will meet at Moncloa (underground bus station) at 08:45, at Isla 2, Platform 21, to take bus 691 departing at 09:00 AM.

• Price: €3 each way (paid directly to the driver)
• If you have a youth travel pass, the bus journey is free
