She is often thought to be part of the Aberdares, but no. Detached by mother nature from the Aberdares ranges Mt. Kipipiri stands tall uplooking Rurimeria Aberdare Ranges 3rd Highest peak as if to dare her. It is located North West side of the Aberdares in between Geta-bushi and Miharati areas some 150km from Nairobi and approached from Ndunyu- njeru at Geta forest station.
The Mt Kipipiri rises to an elevation of 3348 m above sea level. The trek up to the summit takes approximate 5hrs while the descent will take you 3-4hrs depending on your energy levels. The home of mountain lovers is excited to experience this adventure journey with you.

5.00am Depart Nairobi for Kipipiri expected to arrive at the gate to start the hike at 8.00am
12.30pm Enjoy your packed lunch or snacks at the peak as you view the scenic surroundings
5.00 pm Leave Kipipiri for Nairobi expecting to arrive at 8.30pm
What to wear and items to carry;
Comfortable running shoes or Water proof hiking boot preferred
Gym/hiking pants (avoid jeans)
Polyester T-shirt (like the football jerseys) carry an extra one to change after the hike

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled trip departure, 50% of the fee will be charged.
If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled trip departure, no refund fees will be provided.
No shows are responsible for 100% of trip fees.
