About this Event
Join IIDA for a fun and meaningful Saturday morning as we hit the trails with some very special companions! Hike for Hounds is all about giving dogs from Pet Placement Center a chance to get outside, explore, and enjoy some love while they wait for their forever homes.
We’ll be taking these adoptable pups on a group hike at Stringers Ridge—getting them exercise, socialization, and visibility, all while supporting an incredible cause.
Event Details:
- Dogs will be transported to Stringers Ridge and paired with participants
- Leashes will be provided
- All you need to bring is your energy, comfy walking shoes, and maybe a few treats to share
What to Bring:
- Good walking shoes
- Towels or blankets to protect your car seats
- Optional: dog treats
Donations to Pet Placement Center are appreciated but not required—your time and participation already make a huge impact!
Come enjoy the outdoors, meet fellow animal lovers, and help give these dogs a day full of adventure and attention. Who knows—you might just meet your new best friend 🐶
