Let’s hike the trails, climb the observation tower, and stop to fossil hunt along the way. The guided trip will launch from the pavilion in the parking lot at 9am and will return at 3pm. Cost is $150 per person and includes all fossil hunting gear. If you have your own fossil hunting gear and would like to join the guided event, the cost $75 per person. Children <12 are a flat rate of $35 each. There are a limited number of spots for this event. We operate on a first come first serve basis and require a waiver and payment to be completed to secure your spot. Both are accessible via our website at https://h2oadventuresandmore.com under the “waivers and checklist” and “make a payment” tabs.
Please note, if you plan to collect shark’s teeth, invertebrates or plant fossils no fossil hunting permit is required. However, in order to collect anything else you must obtain a permit. To apply, please visit our website, locate it under the fossil hunting tab, print, complete it then mail it with $5 annual fee.
