Hike & Yoga with ExploreMore
Join ExploreMore Founder, Haley, for a fun, family-friendly Hike & Yoga experience. We’ll start with standing yoga (no mat needed), then head out for a guided 3ish mile hike—fresh air, movement, and good company included.
Cost: $25
Location: Rowlett Creek Preserve (2525 Castle Dr. Garland TX) (be sure to go to this address, Google and Apple maps often takes people to random spots on the trail instead of the actual parking lot)
Parking: Free on-site
Bring: Water, optional snack (pack out trash), comfy clothes + shoes. Trekking poles optional. No yoga mat needed.
Who Can Join:
Everyone! Kids and leashed dogs are free and welcome. No strollers—children and dogs must be able to hike 3 miles or parents must be willing and able to carry them. Be sure to bring extra water.
Good to Know:
The hike will be beginner friendly and mostly flat. This is a multi use trail so we may encounter some bikers but we will discuss who has the right of way before we step off. We will hike the opposite direction of bikers so we can see them coming and there is plenty of room to step aside so a biker can pass. Also, the time of snakes is here. We will stay on the trail so it is much safer (as long as you stay on the trail) and Haley will lead the way and stop the group if we need to let some friends cross the trail.
