See the “Mare & Foal” and enjoy superb views from the highest point on Hadrian’s Wall.A chance to have a look at the new Landscape Discovery Centre before heading west on Cranberry Brow to the Milecastle Inn formerly known as the Commonhouse Inn. The return passes the ‘Mare & Foal’ , the remains of a prehistoric stone circle, before joining Hadrian’s Wall ; walking east to its highest point where we have extensive views of the surrounding area (on a good day).
Dress for changeable weather and wear suitable footwear. Bring a packed lunch, snacks and a drink for the break.
Dogs are not permitted at this event.
