This 90-minute 'HIGHLIGHTS' tour takes you through the heart of the city, uncovering Newcastle's historical and cultural landmarks. Starting at Grey's Monument, we'll journey from the present day back through Victorian, medieval Norman and Roman times, while discovering how the River Tyne helped transform a small settlement into the vibrant city we know today.
If you haven't yet experienced one of Rob's walks, you're in for a treat. His wealth of knowledge, stories and fascinating facts brings Newcastle's history to life, and by the end of the tour you'll have a whole new appreciation of the city.
This special event is being held to raise funds for Us Active and support our work with young people experiencing mental health difficulties. Through free access to sport and physical activity, we help improve wellbeing, build confidence and create opportunities for positive change.
