SELASEE draws on his Ghanaian roots especially highlife music and blends them with reggae and pop influences.
• His debut album, Run, was released in 2005 under Running Dream Records.
• The title track “Run” won first place in the World Music category at the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) in 2005.
• That same track was featured in the video game FIFA 06 by EA Sports.
• In 2010, he released his second album, African Gate, on his label.
• His 2015 album Time for Peace was produced by reggae legend Aston “Family Man” Barrett (of The Wailers).
• He has shared stages with major reggae artists and bands including Steel Pulse, The Wailers, Anthony B, Julian Marley, Ebo Tailor, Amakye Dede, Pat Thomas among others.
