Got something broken at home? Don’t throw it away! Fix it at the Highlands College Repair Café. 🔧♻️We’re excited to welcome the amazing team from Repair Café back to Highlands College (Philip Mourant Centre, Trinity) for another community repair event.
Working alongside skilled volunteers and college staff, the Repair Café offers a chance to bring along broken household items, such as kitchen appliances, bicycles and belongings with sentimental value, and see if they can be repaired - helping reduce waste and save money.
This event is also a brilliant opportunity for our students (especially electrical, engineering, textiles, and creative learners) to watch experts at work, build confidence, and start thinking about the skills they can offer to support sustainability in their own communities.
This event is open to staff, students, parents, carers, and the wider community - everyone is welcome. 👨👩👧👦
