About this Event
Join Cut Out Club for a creative workshop that turns the gloomiest day of the year into something vibrant and inspiring.
Known as "Blue Monday", this day has a reputation for being the most depressing of the year, marked by post-holiday blues, cold weather, and those New Year’s resolutions starting to fade.
...but instead of letting the blues win, we’re flipping the script with a hands-on zine-making session where you can connect with others in the community while getting crafty in our cosy space! 💙
Browse the bothy to gain inspiration from our collection of over 200 zines, then indulge in making your very own collage-filled mini-zine in response to your favourites! ✂️
You will also have the opportunity to donate your zine to the collection if desired.
Open to all experience levels, and all materials are provided. Workshop is free to attend, but booking is required as spaces are limited to 18 people. Any donations are gratefully received and will go towards maintaining the Highland Zine Bothy.
Cut Out Club is a series of collage zine-making workshops, each of which have a distinct theme that encourages attendees to reflect and meaningfully create in a collaborative community environment.
Founded in 2023 by Tasch of Assemblage Collective and Iona of DeZiners, the duo are currently in partnership with St Margarets House in Bethnal Green, London.
