Join us for our Out and About in the Highlands showcase event, where we will share some of the outcomes of our community research project LGBTIQ+ participation and inclusion in sports in the Highlands. Including the premier screening of a short film, we will be joined by Pride of the Terraces and a 'Seen and Heard Live' panel of LGBTIQ+ community members in sport.

This project has been a collaboaration researchers from UHI and funded by the Ideas Fund, to help break down the barriers and promote inclusion of LGBTIQ+ people in sports in the Highlands. Through this community-based research, we have been producing a 'community accessibility plan' which we will be discussing at this event and looking to share in the following weeks.
