Marshland Loop: A Gentle Hike from HighamA quick intro
Join us for a peaceful Sunday walk on 28th June, taking in the marshes, estuary paths, and open countryside around Higham and Shorne. This flat and gentle 15.5 km (9.6 mile) loop is perfect for those wanting an easy-paced hike with big skies and plenty of nature.
We’ll follow tranquil trails through Shorne Marshes and alongside the Thames Estuary, with a lunch stop at the Pure Planet Café at the Eternal Lake Nature Reserve. The café offers drinks, cakes, and light snacks — a great mid-walk treat.
Please note we won’t have time to order full meals, so bring your own packed lunch to eat while we pause.
