High Tide / Low Tide — Full Moon Edition. A workshop + sound bath on creative authority & expression, hosted by Mega McGrath & May Globus.
About this Event

A creative workshop and sound bath hosted by Low Tide / High Tide—a pop-up series by artist Mega McGrath—designed to help you reconnect with your creative authority, embodied self-expression, and authentic voice. Featuring certified sound practitioner and channeler May Globus.

This gathering invites participants to work with the energy of the Full Moon in Leo, a lunar moment associated with visibility, heart-led expression, and claiming one’s creative presence in the world.

An evening of meditation, sound healing, and creative exploration

We use astrology as a mythological and archetypal framework—drawing on symbolism for theme and timing—while grounding the experience in psychology, meditation, and somatic nervous system work. The intention is to support a parasympathetic, embodied state where clarity, confidence, and creative expression can emerge naturally.

For this edition, we’ll explore the Leo–Aquarius dynamic: the relationship between the artist and audience, the self in expression and the collective that receives it. Rather than seeing these as opposites, we’ll work with how they need one another to feel complete.

Participants will be guided to/through:

  • Identify and define their generative creative drive
  • Attune to how that drive lives and communicates through the body
  • Explore themes of authenticity, visibility, and creative authority
  • Listen for what the body, heart, and intuition are asking for next

The workshop will include guided reflection, journaling prompts, a future-self/highest-self meditation and a heart coherence practice, followed by a sound bath integration designed to help insights land somatically.

Sound & Integration

We’ll work with sound as a tool for embodiment and coherence, with particular attention on the sacral center (creative energy) and the heart (expression, visibility, authenticity). Using crystal bowls and healing frequencies, sound is used to support nervous system regulation, emotional clarity, and integration of the creative work explored earlier in the evening.

Who is this for?

Creatives, artists, entrepreneurs, performers, founders, and anyone seeking a deeper relationship with their voice, visibility, and creative expression—whether that expression is artistic, personal, or professional. No prior experience with sound healing, astrology, or creative workshops is required.

FAQ

What should I bring?
Dress comfortably and bring layers, a water bottle, a journal and pen, and anything that helps you feel supported and at ease. Yoga mats will be provided; blankets or small pillows are welcome.

Do I need to be a creative to attend?
Not at all. This workshop isn’t about “being an artist” in a traditional sense—it’s about reconnecting with the creative and generative force that lives in everyone. Whether you’re building a project, redefining your role, or clarifying your next chapter, the work is applicable.

Do I need to know anything about astrology?
No astrology knowledge is needed. Leo season and the Full Moon are used as symbolic themes, and all concepts are introduced in a clear, accessible way.

What happens during the sound bath?

A sound bath is an immersive, meditative experience that supports the nervous system in returning to balance and coherence. Through live acoustic instruments—such as crystal bowls and other resonant tools—sound helps quiet the mind, deepen embodiment, and integrate creative and emotional insights.
