Maison de Moon is a French Provincial style farmhouse in Clarendon set on 13 acres. Surrounded by beautiful established European trees, a large rose garden, a gorgeous wisteria arbour, and a glorious small lake that is the backdrop to the French farmhouse.
The house is sited amongst a former 150 year old market garden dotted with grapevines, olives and extensive fruit trees and flowers.
Please join us for a decadent High Tea experience in the beautiful warmth of our French country style home while taking a guided art class with our lovely local Clarendon artist, Di Lamont. Di has been painting from an early age spending many hours with brush in hand gathering understanding and skill.
Di has taught Acrylic painting in SA, NSW & California & was selected by Chroma Australia as one of 9 Teacher Support Artists in Australia. Di studied oils while living in California a second time and passes her knowledge onto others who learn to paint with her. She has had three books published and has appeared in many magazines in the past, group art shows and her paintings hang both in Australia and overseas.
On arrival at Maison de Moon you will be greeted with premium sparkling from the Fleurieu Peninsula then escorted to a tablescape with the finest Vintage English tea sets and crockery. Indulge in some local Fleurieu crafted desserts and sweets along with our traditional High Tea sandwiches and tasty pastries before starting your guided art class with Di Lamont.
This is a 3.5hr experience.
All art supplies will be provided. Bring along an apron or an old shirt if you wish.
Additional Premium Fleurieu Peninsula Sparkling will be available to purchase throughout the afternoon.
Parking
Access to our car parking is only accessible when you come from Grants Gully Road, then turning onto Turners Gully Road. From there, please follow the signposts to the carpark.
Weather
If inclement weather, please bring along an umbrella for your entry onto the estate from the carpark.
