About this Event
High School Musical can be viewed through a biblical lens as a story about identity, courage, and unity that points toward life in Christ.
At East High, Troy and Gabriella struggle between others’ expectations and what they are truly gifted and called to do, echoing the biblical theme of living to please God rather than people and using the diverse gifts He gives.
As characters repent, reconcile, and choose to support one another’s callings, the story reflects the New Testament vision of the body of Christ: many different members working together in love, where “we’re all in this together” becomes a picture of the church living in unity, encouragement, and mutual service under one greater purpose—God.
