One of the Hidden Waterways walks this summer. A chance to discover some of the hidden brooks and streams which run through the centre of Winchester.
Join one of Winchester’s professional guides for a 90 minute walking tour, starting at Winchester Visitor Information Centre.
This companion tour to Winnall Moors on 9th May and The Lockburn on 25th July focuses on the waterways established during Saxon and medieval England to service the local population as well as many of the monasteries and nunneries that abounded in Winchester. Some waterways can be seen and others heard.

Tickets are £12 for adults, £5 for children (under 16) and available in advance through the website or in person on the day at the Visitor Information Centre if still available.
Child Ticket - You will need to undertake a separate second transaction to the one used to purchase the adult tickets in your group. When booking for the children select the number of children's tickets you require under general admission category, enter the promotional code CHILD and click apply. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Carer Ticket - Tickets for an essential carer are free. You will need to undertake a separate second transaction to the one used to purchase the other tickets for your group. Please select one ticket under general admission category, enter the promotional code CARERFREE and click apply. This allows the tickets to be purchased for free.
